University of Windsor’s CAOS brings Black students and cultures together
The University of Windsor’s Caribbean African Organization of Students (CAOS) is teaming up with different Black student associations around the campus to put on their Dark Nights Gala.
These other groups involved in the planning are the Black Leadership and Excellence Program (BLX), African Student Association (ASA), and Afrofest. They hope to connect Black students on campus and their cultures, to try and strengthen the community more than ever.
The Gala will be a fun night for students to wear their cultural clothes and celebrate their differences.
CJAM spoke with the co-presidents of CAOS, Amandine Soho and Naomi Telesford to learn more about what CAOS is, what the Dark Nights Gala is, and what inspired it.
