BC Green Business partners with Kootenay organization for the first time
BC Green Business has partnered with Community Futures Central Kootenay bringing green economy business support and education to the Central Kootenay region. Since expanding province wide in 2023, this is their first partnership with a Kootenay organization.
Formerly known as the Vancouver Island Green Business Collective, BC Green Business is a nonprofit that identifies practical and affordable ways for businesses to take climate action. They will be hosting a three part webinar series titled Climate Resilient Kootenay Businesses.
On Feb. 22, BC Green Business will present on the circular economy, the March 14 webinar will focus on decarbonization strategies and on April 18 they’ll look at practical and affordable ways for businesses to reduce their environmental impact.
Community Futures Central Kootenay will also be funding 15 Central Kootenay businesses to join BC Green Business.
