Fraser Valley business leaders stress need for pro-business agenda ahead of election
Ahead of British Columbia’s next general election, scheduled for Oct. 19, CIVL Radio is presenting a series of regular interviews with all major provincial party leaders, as well as analysts and pundits.
As a first entry to the election series, CIVL Radio spoke with Alex Mitchell and Corey Redekop, CEOs of the Abbotsford and Langley Chambers of Commerce, respectively. Their organizations aim to represent the needs of Abbotsford and Langley businesses and advocate for economic development across the Fraser Valley.
Both CEOs agreed, B.C. politicians should make the private sector a priority.
“A healthy community is one with a really healthy economy, so absolutely it has to be about it has to be about a pro-business agenda for whomever forms government in Victoria this October,” said Mitchell.
