Local groups invited to apply for funding through the county’s community grants program
Local not-for-profit organizations are being invited to apply for the county’s annual Community Grants Program.
The program provides eligible applicants up to $2,000 to assist with projects that benefit the community and enhance the quality of life for those who live here.
Wellington County Deputy Clerk, Nicole Cardow, says the program supports many initiatives, from cultural events and recreational activities to educational programming and social services.
She says applications are already coming in, and they usually receive about 50 each year.
