Brampton woman aims to beat longest cooking marathon world record
The Guinness world record for longest cooking marathon is being contested by a restaurateur from Brampton.
Beauty Odasuyi will be attempting this challenge for the next eight days. The record is currently held by Alan Fisher at a 119 hours. Fisher earned the record on Oct. 3 2023.
Odasuyi only needs to stay awake cooking for 120 hours, but has decided to attempt to beat the record by an additional 72.
To comply with Guinness standards Odasuyi will need to have a minimum of two things cooking at all times. In addition she is only allowed to take 5 minute breaks.
For the duration of the challenge Odasuyi is live streaming herself in the kitchen cooking on her YouTube Channel.
