Living Locally Fair run by school for first year
The organization of Russell’s winter fair and market, the Living Locally Fair, has been taken over by the school which hosts it.
St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic High School in the Village of Russell first started management of the event last year and it was a success, so teacher Matt Spence is the main liaison for the event this year. CJRO had a chance to interview Spence beforehand.
The fair was organized originally by the Russell and District Horticultural Society and grew into a highly attended local event. The fair is this Saturday, Jan. 20 at 1211 South Russell Road in Russell, Ontario.
